Sete Cidades Crater Mountain Bike Tour With Lakes, Forests, and Ocean Views

This tour is a complete biking experience on mountain edges (crater ridge), around beautiful lakes, through valleys and forests with the sea as background image.

Starting on the highest parts of the main crater of Sete Cidades, our guides will give you a full run down about the activity as well as safety and technical advises. After proper fitting of all the gear, it is time to discover the volcano crater rim and its breathtaking view to the Ocean side and Lakes side, followed by the descent into the Village. We’ll discover how it is to live inside a dormant volcano. After discovering the lakes margins and hidden bays, we will start to work our way up back to the starting point with a special halfway spot at amazing Santiago lake situated inside one of the many secondary craters/eruptions. On the half day program you will see the main lakes and crater. On the full day you will have the opportunity to taste a light meal with traditional products and discover some other great views and even more picturesque lakes.
