Explore West São Miguel Lagoons on a Scenic Hiking Adventure
Enjoy the supreme landscapes, lakes and lagoons on the west part of S. Miguel hiking unique paths and trails that once were the only access for local habitants.
Located just outside of the main crater of Sete Cidades this hike will take us to discover many lagoons of the west corner of the island, such as “Lagoa das Empadadas”, “Lagoa Rasa”, among others. On this hike we will also visit “Lagoa do Canário” and enjoy the view from one of the most famous viewpoints on Azores that overlooks into the entire crater of Sete Cidades – Miradouro da Boca do Inferno.
